Can I drink alcohol while taking metronidazole antibiotics? - metronidazole more drug_side_effects
Currently I am in my 5th Day under 250 mg metronidazole to treat an infection that I am too. I've heard there are some side effects if you drink alcohol while on them. Has anyone drank while on? And if so, what happened? Should I risk this? I do not drink much. Only one or two drinks.

No alcohol while taking an antibiotic.
Alcohol and metronidazole can cause vomiting == shame!

- "Alcohol should be avoided and at least 48 hours after treatment by patients during systemic metronidazole therapy."
I am happy with this call. Think carefully.
Never drink alcohol in his system, while on other medications. Simple as that.
Not sure what the reaction, which will go best on the safe side, to be in an emergency room two hours later, or even worse.
Without knowing you could be a resistance measurement between drugs and alcohol, so that we do not get sick, so the loss is much better than all the risk. Also, make sure that the entire course of medication prescribed for you.
Alcohol should be avoided because metronidazole and alcohol, nausea, vomiting, can cause cramps, flushing and headaches ... I no chance ill for a few drinks. I did it once and spent about 4 hours in the bathroom.
Were you drinking when you become infected "? Maybe I should just stop drinking for a while because it seemed to have problems, what cause?
