Psychology Today Therapists Should I Pursue Law School After Earning 2 MA's In Psychology?

Should I pursue law school after earning 2 MA's in psychology? - psychology today therapists

Recently, I received my second degree in counseling and clinical psychology (March 2006). In California, I have no interest in the implementation of the 3000 hours of work, with the study of marriage and family therapist before the Board.

Today I was informed that I accepted to law school. I wonder whether a particular school of law and a master's degree in psychology to complement each other? "

An MFT is an excellent addition to the lawyers in the family to enter. The problem is, to lawyers, to find the family law firm request. He said they wanted to remain a lawyer, so that from this area and concentrate on your question about the interest of the two subjects.

Psychology can be helpful in relation to the jurors to understand and contribute to the analysis of the jury. A JD is also useful for those working in management positions (such as a hospital with expertise) in the psychology of want.

I'm sure you know how the American Bar Psychology is a division of APA. This is an excellent contribution to the field of law and legal institutions in America.

I am a law student. Law School is an animal and should not be decided on a whim, but carefully evaluate their goals and aspirations. Make sure that you want and can get involved. Good luck!

As someone with 3 degrees and the juggling and the other two, I suggest you stay away from school for a while and just work to do - nothing. Going to school is socially acceptable "time out", says Dr. Phil and I agree with him. There is however one drawback to this type of thing: the lack of a social life, going to school and everything to the university (housing, related, etc.), and quite frankly, do not learn, addictive, the school of life that is really the best school of all. I consider myself a part of this group of souls that is the nightmare of going to school caught. "In the Middle Ages, is a real burden for me. Please take time to think. Law School is no picnic (my cousin) is a lawyer. Personally, I am aware of others in this case, and I can tell you that often, Students are chronic because it is running from something and the university is a good place to hide.
